Habitat: Common on shallow, wave exposed reef habitats at low (2-6 m deep) or mid depths (15-20 m), specially on Acropora palmata dead colonies. Characteristics: Transparent brown, very thin tissue on coral rubble (up to several m. in diameter). Smooth surface with small and inconspicuous oscules (0.4-1.4 mm in diameter). Color light to dark brown with yellowish, reddish or greenish tinges.
