Alabama Museum of Natural History Invertebrate Zoology Collection (ALMNH-IZ)

The Invertebrate Zoology Collection contains over 23,000 catalogued lots of marine, freshwater, and terrestrial invertebrates and an estimated 10,000 additional lots of uncatalogued specimens. Particular strengths of the collection include diverse Antarctic marine invertebrates, freshwater mussels, and Aplacophora.
